The Charleston County Sheriff's office has found 77-year-old Julia Mudgett's vehicle in Ridgeland, Monday afternoon.

Mudgett was reported missing on May 6, 2014, from her home in Hollywood. Her 2002 burgundy Hyundai Elantra with South Carolina license plate, HHC851 was found on Monday near a boat landing on Tuten Landing Road in Ridgeland. The vehicle has been taken back to the Charleston County Sheriff's office. It will be processed as part of the investigation.

The Sheriff's  office is continuing to investigate the incident as a missing person investigation, but believes foul play is involved in Mudgett's disappearance. No suspects are in custody.
