The South Carolina State Election Commission is releasing sample ballots in advance of next month's primary election

Officials said they hope the sample ballots will allow voters to be more informed on Election Day, something they said could cut down wait times at polling stations.

Aryastar Macklin of Gaffney said she used sample ballots when she lived in another state and said they made things a lot smoother at the polls. "You could just walk in, you it already marked, you knew who you were voting for and you could just click it in and be done with it."
