DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Dorchester County Sheriff's deputies and officers with the North Charleston Police Department are working a shooting investigation on Pine Grove Drive off Ashley Phosphate.
Officials say the shooting happened at 11:45 a.m. in a roadway in the Dorchester Manor neighborhood.
Injured were a 16-year-old male and a 20-year-old male. They were both taken to a local hospital and as of 4:45 p.m. were still receiving treatment.
Investigators say they will not be releasing the names of the shooting victims today.
Neighbors say one person was shot in the head, but officials have not confirmed that information.
