Mt. Pleasant Police make two arrests in Tavern & Table robbery and shooting

Mt. Pleasant, S.C. (WCIV) — The Mount Pleasant Police Department has arrested Joshua Olando Washington and Brandon Lloyd Daniels for their involvement in the armed robbery at Tavern & Table Restaurant on Shem Creek on April 4, where a manager was shot.

Joshua Olando Washington of Summerville and Brandon Lloyd Daniels of North Charleston, both 26 years old, are charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and three counts of kidnapping.

Mount Pleasant Police say on April 4, someone came inside the restaurant around 11:30 p.m. demanding money. The manager, Chris Dixon, was shot during the process of the robbery, and the suspect left with an unknown amount of money, according to police.

Dixon is still recovering from his injuries.
