Charleston County is a sex trafficking gold mine. Those are the words of Lindsey Hass, a woman who says she was manipulated, beaten and forced to sell her body for sex all up and down the East Coast.
In an exclusive interview with ABC News 4, Lindsey shared her emotional personal story of how she finally was able to break free, and what she says makes Charleston a magnet for traffickers.
ABC News 4's Angela Brown is also speaking to law enforcement in Greenville and Charleston counties about the issue, and how special task forces are cracking down on the highly profitable illicit trade.
