100 people from the Lowcountry lined up at the new Chick-Fil-A on Long Point Road for the chance at “Free Chick-Fil-A for a Year”.
The operator of the new Chick-Fil-A, Josh Malone, offered 100 lucky people a chance a free chick-fil-a for a year with one catch: they had to participate in community service for the day.
Participants boarded the buses Tuesday morning and spent the day in North Charleston at Water Mission, a non-profit organization aiming to give everyone clean, safe water.
After the community service event, the 100 attendees went back to the Long Point Chick-Fil-A location and were awarded an Icedream Party and their “free Chick-Fil-A for a Year” certificates.
The community Road Trip was a way for operator Josh Malone to celebrate the opening of the new location, which is set to open Wednesday May 9, 2018.
