Katie Arrington shares first photo since fatal crash

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Congressional Candidate Katie Arrington has shared her first photo since being hospitalized due to a car accident that left one dead

On Sunday morning, Arrington tweeted a photo of herself overlooking the City of Charleston in what appears to be a hospital room.

With her hand over her chest, the photo is captioned: "Thank you, family and friends from across our beautiful Lowcountry, state, and nation for your prayers and support."

  • On Saturday, Goff was removed from a respirator, according to Arrington campaign spokesman Michael Mulé. Arrington was able to visit with Goff Saturday night.

"They prayed, cried tears of joy, and laughed together," Mulé said. "Both expressed their most grateful appreciation for all of the prayers and words of encouragement being sent their way."
