Police Rescue Dogs Left without Food, Water in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach Police were called to a home after 5 p.m. on Friday after it was reported that pets were left without food and water at an evacuated home. Police said two small, white dogs were left in a chain-linked-fenced kennel and a small black dog was found inside the home.

Animal control took the two outside dogs to the animal shelter, while an officer is supposed to follow up tomorrow on the dog left inside the home, according to a report.

It is unknown at this time if the owners will face charges. The owners are expected to be back on Sunday.
