Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan Makes Surprise Afghanistan Visit

The acting defense secretary is in Afghanistan. General Patrick Shanahan made the unannounced trip as the U.S. and Taliban are in the middle of peace talks. Shanahan is set to meet with American military officials, as well as Afghan President Ashraf Ghani .
