Hilary Duff Gives Coy Response About Miranda Returning To 'Lizzie McGuire'

Dreams came true last week when Hilary Duff and Disney+ announced Adam Lamberg would be reprising his role of Gordo for the Lizzie McGuire revival series. "Gordo was an essential piece of the puzzle to what made the original Lizzie McGuire so authentic and beloved," Duff said of Lambert's return. "I couldn't imagine the series without him. I can't wait for fans to see what he's up to 15 years later and how he fits into Lizzie's adult world."

TMZ caught up with Duff on the streets of Los Angeles on Saturday (November 23) and asked the actress about Lambert's return to the show. "It was really exciting," Duff said of working with Lambert again. "Everything was like old times. It was awesome."

While Duff and all the Lizzie McGuire fans out there are thrilled for Gordo and Lizzie to reunite on the small screen, there's still one question on everybody's mind. Will Lizzie's other BFF, Miranda Sanchez, be reprising her role on the revival? Miranda, played by Lalaine Vergara-Paras, was written out of the show in its final season and fans have been clamoring to find out what happened to her for a long time now.

When TMZ asked Duff if there was "anybody else you hope to come back?" for the revival, Duff gave a coy response of "I can't tell you that!" With Lizzie's family all returning for the reboot, as well as the possibility of Ethan Craft being a part of Lizzie's life as a 30-year-old woman, it would definitely make sense for Miranda to still be in touch with Lizzie, as well. We'll just have to wait and see if Miranda makes a comeback, too.
