A TikTok star was arrested in Texas in connection with the murder of a therapist in Louisiana. Terryon Ishmael Thomas, 20, who is known as Mr. Prada on TikTok, was arrested after a manhunt on Tuesday (October 1) afternoon in Dallas.

Thomas has 8.2 million followers and over 550 million likes on TikTok.

Authorities found the body of 69-year-old William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham wrapped in a tarp in a ditch on Highway 51 near the Village of Tangipahoa on Sunday. He died from blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders in what Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker described as a "very physical, very violent death."

Investigators identified Thomas as a suspect after he was reported driving Abraham's vehicle.

Officers located the stolen vehicle and tried to stop Thomas, but he backed into a police car and fled the scene on foot. He managed to leave the state and was found in Dallas on Tuesday afternoon.

He was taken into custody and is facing charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A motive for the killing has not been discovered.

Thomas has not yet been charged with Abraham's murder.
