Inauguration for College of Charleston's President Hsu is Tomorrow

Tomorrow, October 25th, will be the formal inauguration ceremony for College of Charleston's new president, Andrew T. Hsu.

President Hsu will be the college's 23rd president, as he follows President Glenn McConnell. The inauguration ceremony will take place at the heart of campus in the Cistern Yard at 3:30PM. Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg will be a guest speaker for the ceremony, and many other state and local government representatives and College of Charleston alumni, staff, and students will be in attendance.

The public is invited to a reception on Rivers Green immediately following the ceremony.

If you are unable to attend, the ceremony will be broadcasted online via College of Charleston's Facebook page and website.

In addition to the ceremony, an inaugural festival will be held tonight, October 24th, for the College of Charleston community. There will be music, games, desserts, and more on George Street starting at 8:00PM.
