60th Annual GRAMMY Awards - Backstage

Two-time Emmy and Grammy award-winning stand-up comedian Dave Chappelle is returning to Charleston! This time just for one night, and to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. All proceeds of his show will benefit 2020 democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang's presidential campaign, who Chappelle has announced his endorsement for. Last time Chappelle toured Charleston was in 2017 and he performed four shows at the Charleston Music Hall. Known for creating, writing, and starring in Chappelle's Showon Comedy Central, he's also appeared in Half Baked, The Nutty Professor, and more, Chappelle is a legendary stand-up comedian and puts on an unfrogettable show.

Things to keep in mind for the

No cellphones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at this show. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones throughout the night, and if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby. All guests are encouraged to print their tickets in advance to ensure a smooth entry process. Anyone caught with a cellphone in the venue will be immediately ejected. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
