So much for women's sports receiving any protection from lawmakers in South Carolina? Come on guys, at least have the intestinal fortitude to take a roll call vote so we know which RHINO's to weed out and primary:
'A committee in the South Carolina House rejected a bill Tuesday that would have prevented transgender students from playing on girls’ sports teams in middle and high school.
The House Judiciary Committee tabled the bill without a recorded vote, likely dooming any chance it has of passing in 2021.' MORE
As a gal who played year-round sports growing up in middle and high school - this one cuts pretty deep. It shouldn't have to be explained that boys and men have physical advantages over girls and women in the field of sports on a myriad of levels. Bigger bones and more muscle mass contribute to EXTRA STRENGTH that can physically harm a woman's body, to an extreme, if clashing on a court or in a field.
Yet, here we are in South Carolina, supposedly one of the most conservative states in the nation, who isn't turning a back on trans-teens, but is saying, lets figure out a more equitable way for all involved - like a separate transgender league for example.
