Charleston City Council is voting Tuesday to make the Racial Equity + Inclusion Commission permanent and to specifically charge it with advancing the recommendations in their report, which includes defunding police, removing statues. And, nothing is stopping the commission from unilaterally working with schools to implement CRT and other radical education priorities.

The virtual meeting is Tuesday at 5:00 but you need to sign up to speak or leave a comment by noon today.
