Grab your 'Happy Birthday America' red white and blue USA flags, beach gear and apparel and head to the nearest beach South Carolina this July 4th! For a second year, I'm blessed to fly the lowcountry skies in recognition and appreciation of the sacrifice these (on-duty and off-duty pilots) make to fly on a holiday and in support of America, who remains free, because of the brave. I encourage you strongly support this annual event. There's no better way to enjoy your fourth of July afternoon, along all of coastal S.C. beaches than by supporting Salute from the Shore. I'll be flying in the last vintage plane to pass so as you create and post your own "salute" to our active and retired military personnel around the world on this special day, please tag #salutefromtheshore2024 #SFTS24
Here's our flyover schedule for #SFTS24! Organizers of the annual 'Salute' say "Each year, it is the wonderful support of active-duty military men and women who make SFTS possible. With each year, there’s always the possibility that aircraft and crew will be called to a higher mission and pulled away from this event at the last minute. That is the case this year for our largest participant and crowd pleaser, the Globemaster C-17 out of Charleston Joint Base. We thank the crew for their service, wish them good luck on their mission and hope to have them back again next year! That said, SFTS is still ON with our friends in F-16s from the 169th Fighter Wing with McEntire JNGB and the Warbirds brigade of vintage military planes, delivering what promises to be a great day on the beach saluting our active and retired military personnel! Follow us along for any updates to the schedule. July 4th can't come soon enough!" #salutefromtheshore #salutefromtheshore2024 #SFTS24 #flyover #militaryheroes #southcarolina #coastline #usheroes #navy #redwhiteandblue #usmilitary #armystrong #armedforces #militarylife #veterans #airforce #fourthofjuly #4thofjuly #july4th #independenceday
Check out this behind the scenes tour of Vintage Warbird Pilot Kevin O’Keefe's 1961 Focke Wulf FWP-149 , who I'll be flying with in this year's #SFTS again this year:
I can't wait to 'share from the air' this 4th of July 'Salute' and I thank God I'm blessed to live in the freest country on the planet, the mighty USA. Happy Birthday America!!
