Chick-Fil-A's popular Johnnie Dodds Boulevard location in Mount Pleasant is closing Aug. 24, according to a letter emailed Saturday to customers.
The announcement says the closure will be for remodeling in the kitchen area aimed at better serving demand from its customers.
Store officials in the letter said the remodeling is expected to take six to eight weeks. Updates on the store's reopening will be posted on its Facebook page.
