BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
One person staying in shelters are dead after being transported to an area hospital.
One of the people was pronounced dead after being transported from the Goose Creek High School to a hospital in early morning hours, according to Coroner Bill Salisbury.
The man died a natural death, Salisbury said.
The identity of people has not been released.
UPDATE: A second person was reported dead by the Red Cross on Saturday. The Red Cross has now issued a statement that there has only been one death.
