New options will soon come to vegetarian baseball fans, as Aramark brings plant-based fare created with Beyond Meat to stadiums across the US.
The food service provider serves Caribbean-inspired Beyond Burgers at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Beyond Sausages at Kansas City's Kauffman Stadium, and brats made with Beyond Sausage at Citi Field.
The company says they recognize that many consumers want to cut back on their meat intake, so their "culinary team has been working with a broad range of plant-based products to create more enticing menu choices."
Aramark, who is also contracted to schools and hospitals, notes they served nearly two billion meals per year.
