CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Reports have come in saying Kristin Graziano has won the race for Charleston County Sheriff.
With 100% of the vote in, reports say Graziano has 52% of votes with 111,200 and Cannon has 48% with 104,107 votes.
The election is historic on both local and state levels.
Cannon has been sheriff of Charleston County since 1988, and Graziano is set to be the first female sheriff in South Carolina history.
Cannon says that he will be holding a press conference at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
