Two sets of protests welcomed VP Kamala Harris to Greenville. A rally held by My SC GOP was scheduled for 11 a.m. outside of Sterling School, which is across the street from Harris’ visit to the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center.
Across Pleasantburg Drive, The state Republican Party is gathering in McAlister Square.
The tour is part of an effort by the Biden administration to vaccinate 70% of American adults by July 4. Harris will end the week with a visit to Atlanta, and the tour includes First Lady Jill Biden, Second Gentleman Dough Emhoff and cabinet members making visits to North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Louisiana.
