SAVANNAH, Ga. (WCSC/WTOC) - Former President Donald Trump will make a stop in the Hostess City on Tuesday afternoon.

An announcement on his campaign website states Trump will outline his plan to lower taxes for American business owners and highlight the importance of buying American-made goods during his Savannah stop.

Trump will speak at the Johnny Mercer Theater, located at 301 W. Oglethorpe Ave., at 1 p.m.

Trump on Sunday declined an invitation for a second debate with Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris accepted an invitation from CNN for a second debate on Oct. 23.

“It’s too late to do another. I’d love to, in many ways, but it’s too late,” he said, noting that voting has already started in parts of the country.
