Credit card skimmers found on Charleston gas pumps

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Credit card skimmers were found at two Charleston gas stations, and police are hoping to make an arrest.

The first was found at the Exxon gas station at 1140 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. on Monday, January 16. According to an incident report, police were called to the Northbridge Exxon Service Station on Tuesday, January 17. The owner of the gas station told police he got complaints one pump was not working. The owner said he found a skimmer in the pump.

A skimmer was also found in a pump of an Exxon gas station at 971 Harbor View Rd. on Tuesday, January 17.
