"March for Our Lives Charleston", this Saturday

Have a child who wants to get involved in the “March For Our Lives” this Saturday, but can’t make it to Columbia or Washington D.C.?

Students from throughout the Lowcountry have organized a “March for Our Lives” Charleston to support teens from across the nation and pay their respects to the victims in the Florida school shooting, this past February.

Local teens and supporters are welcomed to join the march beginning at 3:30 PM at the Old Navy Base, 1045 Everglades Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405, United States.

From there, attendees will march to the Riverfront Park, where students and teachers will rally together to support the marches on the capitals in Columbia and DC.

The event coordinators are asking for people to bring either clear or no bags to help with security.

North Charleston Police are assisting the event and will close off roads at 3 PM.

The event coordinators also say people should be aware of a fake Facebook Page out, selling shirts to people but customers aren’t receiving them.
