Charleston Man accused of murdering his wife will appear in court Monday

The man charged with the murder of his wife six years after she goes missing, will be in bond court Monday afternoon.

Robert McCaffrey, was arrested March 27, in North Carolina in connection to his wife, Gayle McCaffrey’s, 2012 disappearance.

According to the arrest affidavit from the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, police believe that McCaffrey committed murder on or about March 12, 2012 at the couple's home at 2829 Limestone Blvd. in Charleston.

McCaffrey reported his wife missing on March 18, 2012, according to the affidavit.

Robert McCaffrey is due to appear in front of a circuit court judge in Charleston County at 2 PM.
