Man who died after driving wrong way on I-526 identified

North Charleston, S.C. (WCIV) — The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified the driver who was going the wrong way on I-526 eastbound and crashed head-on into another vehicle on April 3.

23-year-old Zachary Holcombe from Greenville died on scene, the coroner reports.

North Charleston Police said four others were in serious condition following the wreck that shut down a portion of Interstate 526 overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday.
