North Charleston Domestic Assault with Weapon Leads to Police Chase

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A police chase stemming from a domestic assault involving a weapon has ended on Ashley Phosphate Road in North Charleston.

Dispatch supervisors with Charleston County's Consolidated 911 Center say North Charleston Police first were called to Rock Creek Court off Dorchester Road shortly before 6 p.m. for a domestic disturbance.

Police wound up chasing a suspect down Ashley Phosphate, dispatchers say. The chase ended near Southrail Road and Palmetto Commerce Parkway at the railroad crossing.

Police are on the scene in both locations. Charleston County EMS has been dispatched as well.
