Charleston Co. Sheriff's Office searching for suspects stealing from cars

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is searching for suspects believed to be in connection with a series of thefts.

Over the course of a week, the suspects have been "prowling" The Preserve at Dills Bluff in James Island around 3 a.m. to steal from cars, according to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office public information officer Roger Antonio.

One suspect reportedly may have a tattoo on their upper left arm and may be driving a stolen champagne-colored 2009 Jeep Liberty.
