SC Gov. McMaster Declares a State of Emergency Ahead of Florence

COLUMBIA, SC (WSCC) - South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has declared a State of Emergency for the state of South Carolina ahead of Tropical Storm Florence, which is expected to become a category 4 storm by Monday. 

The North Carolina governor declared a state of emergency due to Florence's track on Friday

No evacuation orders have been made since we are still too far out for a definite storm track. Residents should be preparing for the storm and going over their Hurricane Preparedness Plan.
