PHOTOS: Downtown Charleston Prepares For Hurricane Florence's Wrath

CHARLESTON, SC (WSCC) - As Hurricane Florence approaches the Carolinas, Charleston is preparing for her fury. Wednesday afternoon our photographer went downtown to capture some of the preparation for Florence.

We found many homes and businesses boarded up with a few people making final preparations.

The City Market, where thousands of people visit daily, was completely empty and ready for the flooding that it will surely see.

Hurricane Florence is expected to make landfall somewhere in South Carolina or North Carolina this weekend.
