CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
President Donald Trump is expected to visit North and South Carolina on Wednesday to tour damage from Hurricane Florence.
According to the White House, President Trump is expected to visit Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
CNN reporters Jim Acosta and Elizabeth Landers cited sources and had reported that the president was also expected to visit Myrtle Beach. But that information has not been verified by the White House.
The visit to North Carolina comes days after President Trump approved a disaster declaration for the state on Saturday.
