WEST ASHLEY, SC (WSCC) - The City of Charleston Police responded to a report of "Shots Fired" at the Citadel Mall in West Ashley.
Officials responded to the call that came in around 6:20pm tonight.
Charleston PD said gunfire was exchanged between two groups of people in the mall's food court. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made at this time.
The gates to the main entrances of the mall are closed to the public until further notice.
North Charleston Police are assisting with the incident.
