6 Christmas Eve babies, 1 Christmas baby born at East Cooper Medical Center

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Four girls and three boys have been born to parents since Christmas Eve at East Cooper Medical Center.

The girls and two of the boys were born on Christmas Eve, according to hospital spokesperson Daisy Burroughs. Those births came just in time for the newborns to enjoy their first Christmas with their families.

Judah Owen Keiper was the first East Cooper Medical Center baby born on Christmas Day, Burroughs said.

Baby Judah’s parents, Sean and Erin Keiper, of Mount Pleasant, welcomed him into the world at 6:12 a.m.

Each of the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day babies were wrapped in “snow-baby” outfits that were hand-crafted by East Cooper Medical Center Women’s Services Director Dee Bien.
