CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Investigators say a man who was trying to sell a phone and was shot was involved in a car accident in downtown Charleston.
The wreck is in the area of Coming Street at the Crosstown.
According to officials with the North Charleston Police Department, it all started when the man was shot in the leg at Dorchester Road and South Allen Drive while trying to sell a phone via an App.
Police say his girlfriend was driving him to the hospital, and on the way got into an accident on the Crosstown.
Police officers were seen directing traffic away from the crash.
