Authorities have filed charges against a family that went viral earlier this month after they got into a fight at Disneyland.
Anaheim police on Tuesday filed five felonies and nine misdemeanors against Avery Desmond-Edwinn Robinson, 35; five misdemeanors against his sister, 40-year-old Andrea Nicole Robinson; and one misdemeanor against Andrea's husband, 44-year-old Daman Petrie.
The video, which was taken July 6th, shows the family in an all-out brawl outside of ToonTown as horrified bystanders look on. The fight ends after Avery Robinson knocks down a woman and brutally punches her in the face several times. In spite of the video evidence, the family has denied the fight ever occurred.
While it might be fair to charge these people with disturbing the peace, should they be charged with assault if everyone is denying it even happened?
