Woman Sues After Walking into a Window she thought was an Open Doorway

Woman entering residential building

A Texas woman has filed a lawsuit after she walked into a window that was so clean, she thought it was an open doorway.

In the lawsuit, the unidentified Conroe resident says she was leaving a local Kroger grocery store when she walked right into a ceiling-to-floor window. She claims she suffered serious injuries, "physical disfigurement" and mental anguish. She's seeking between $200,000 and $1 million.

However, she's not asking Kroger for the money. Instead, the woman filed the lawsuit against LaGrone Services, the contractor that built the store. She claims LaGrone employees should have installed a warning on the window so customers would realize it's there.

Wouldn't it be Kroger's responsibility to put up a warning sign? Have you ever walked into something in public?
