CBD products have exploded in popularity in recent years. But despite being no longer being banned, you shouldn't take them if you plan on working for NASA one day.

NASA officials have warned employees that they could still be fired for testing positive for CBD without a "legitimate medical explanation". Other federal agencies including the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard are enforcing similar policies.

CBD, or cannabidiol, products don't get you high but are used to treat conditions like anxiety or chronic pain. The federal government lifted a ban on hemp-derived products in 2018.
