Major League Baseball Monday announced its earliest opening day ever - March 26, 2020.
It could also be the first time since 1968 that every team will be in action on opening day, barring postponements.
Other 2020 highlights include an April Mets-Marlins series in Puerto Rico; a pair of Cubs-Cards meetings before the Queen in June; and the White Sox and Yankees will emerge from an Iowa cornfield and on to the Field of Dreams.
