Folly Beach Businesses to Keep Occupancy Low

While many of us have already taken precautions in regard to coronavirus and this epidemic that seems like it will never end, Folly Beach has just announced that they would also like to take steps towards minimizing occupancy. In a statement posted on the City of Folly Beach's website, restaurants and bars are being asked to keep their occupancy below 50% and shift to doing take out only. While it is not mandated, it is a request based off of guidelines from the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Not only are businesses making changes but the Island itself will begin doing business through online and phone only starting tomorrow, March 17, 2020.
