10 shot after argument on boat in Little River

Three of the 11 people injured in a shooting on a chartered party boat in Little River, South Carolina, remain hospitalized as of Tuesday (May 27), according to Horry County Police Chief Kris Leonhardt. The shooting occurred on Sunday night (May 25) while the boat was docked near Watson Avenue. The injured individuals are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident took place during a Memorial Day weekend gathering on the boat, which had 120 passengers and four crew members. Police believe there was only one shooter, who was on the boat, and are currently working to identify the suspect. The investigation is complicated by the fact that many of the attendees were from out of town, making it difficult to track down witnesses.
