Sunday, after a Panthers win against the Green Bay Packers, owner/founder Jerry Richardson released a statement saying he will put the Carolina Panthers up for sale at the end of this season. This comes after word broke the NFL was investigating Richardson on allegations of sexual misconduct.
With a team for sale, some celebrities are stepping up (maybe serious, maybe not) with interest to buy the team. One of those? Diddy.
He posted a video on Instagram saying that it was time to make history with an African-American majority owner.
Of course, he calls the team the North Carolina Panthers, so he should work on that.
Who else wants part of the team? Steph Curry even replied to Diddy with a simple "I want in!"
