Eight hospitalized Sunday at Folly & Camp Roads

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) — Eight people were taken to the hospital after a wreck Sunday morning on Folly Road in James Island, authorities say.

According to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened at the Folly Road and Camp Road intersection, and involved three vehicles.

The intersection and portions of Folly Road in both directions were temporarily closed to traffic as first responders worked to transport wreck victims to the hospital, and deputies investigated the wreck.

The sheriff's office has not released further details about the incident at this time.
