Citadel cadet arrest - accused of accosting cadets, brandishing knife

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Officials with the Citadel say the cadet accused of accosting female cadets and brandishing a knife on campus has been arrested.

According to the affidavits Cadet Colton Walker with two counts of assault and battery 2nd Degree for two separate incidents, one on Sept. 26 and another on Oct. 10.

The affidavit states Walker held a victim by the neck and placed a knife to her throat in both incidents.

According to the Citadel, the school became aware of these incidents occurring Friday and issued an alert to all students.

The Citadel also issued a trespass order which barred Walker from going on campus.

The trespass order is to remain in effect until Monday, Oct. 21, where he will then have to report to the public safety office and then school officials before they make any decisions to let him on campus.

Walker has posted his $10,000 bond.
