Folly Boat finds a new home at James Island bar

JAMES ISLAND S.C. (WCSC) - After two years of trying to find a spot, the Folly Boat has a new home on James Island.

On Thursday, crews moved the boat to the Barrel bar on Folly Road.

The infamous boat was stuck behind a house on Sol Legare Road since it washed up there after Tropical Storm Irma.

The messages on the boat have changed over the years.

The boat claimed a home in the Lowcountry after washing ashore near Folly Beach during Hurricane Hugo.
