BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - A driver was killed Tuesday morning in Berkeley County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
A 2014 Volkswagen was traveling east on SC 402 when the driver ran off the road and hit a tree, South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Matt Southern said.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt.
The Berkeley County coroner will release the name of the deceased.
