CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - City officials have issued a curfew for the Charleston peninsula from 9 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday.
The curfew was issued following an emergency city council meeting on Thursday night.
Police Chief Luther Reynolds also said that extra police officers will be out this weekend.
City Council will meet again on Saturday morning to review the situation.
