The South Carolina Boeing plant may be fined $1.25 million due to complaints filed by the FAA. The claims state that managers at the North Charleston plant pressured designated safety-related workers into completing inspections before appropriate to do so. The safety-related government work was for a specific aircraft, and the managers are said to have waited outside of the plane to keep track of how long it took the members to perform the inspections.

Company spokesman, Peter Pedraza, stated "Undue pressure of any type is inconsistent with our values and will not be tolerated."
