Police: Man accused of stabbing police chief holed up inside home

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Deputies and SWAT team members are responding to a standoff with a Berkeley County man accused of stabbing the Bonneau Police chief in the face with a screwdriver.

Bonneau Police Franco Fuda said the incident happened this morning.

Police said after the stabbing, the man returned to his trailer and holed up inside when deputies arrived.
