CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The City of Charleston will be voting on an ordinance banning businesses from offering free samples on sidewalks in the city’s business district.
City Council is expected to take up the issue on Tuesday.
The ordinance states that businesses would be prohibited from sampling food, drink, non-consumable products to pedestrians on the public right of way in the central business district.
