As the greater Charleston community prepares to remember the second anniversary of the Emanuel AME shooting, work continues at Charleston Southern University on the Singleton Baseball Complex.
The facilities Enrichment Center will celebrate Sharonda Coleman-Singleton’s life and serve as a gathering space for athletes to learn and grow spiritually and academically. The Singleton Baseball Complex memorial plaza will feature a “Love is Stronger” memorial. All those who died in Emanuel AME will be remembered. The site will also recognize CSU baseball Hall of Fame athletes and players who have played Major League Baseball.
